Mesoline is a semiconductor company developing and scaling a novel micro fabrication technology: micro-channel particle deposition (MPD).
Founded in October 2017 as a spin-off from the world-renowned California Institute of Technology (Caltech) out of the Atwater labs at Thomas J. Watson, Sr., Laboratories of Applied Physics. In 2019, the company is relocated to Rotterdam, The Netherlands and through private investments and grants (Horizon 2020) early technology development was funded to create the Company's core technology, know-how, innovation and strategy. In 2021, Mesoline entered its next growth phase through 100% acquisition by Aalberts N.V. (AMS: AALB) as financial investor. It continued setting-up and building the Company's own manufacturing location and expanding the team to combine many years of interdisciplinary expertise in advanced technologies, microfabrication and production.

Mesoline got invited to give a talk at the MEMS & Imaging Sensors summit in Grenoble, France from September 19 – 21, 2023. The summit will bring together leaders and industry experts to discuss the latest MEMS and imaging technologies and how they can significantly impact future product developments and applications.

Mesoline was selected by the municipality of Rotterdam as one of the leading innovative companies in the Rotterdam. For that reason, the mayor of Rotterdam, Ahmed Aboutaleb visited Mesoline in person. Marnix Rebergen (CTO) and Thomas Russell(CEO) showed Mr. Aboutaleb around at Mesoline and explained why Rotterdam has such an great environment for technology companies to scale!
Mr. Aboutaleb has a background in electrical engineering and showed deep interest in the latest activities of Mesoline.
On September 6 – 8, 2023 Mesoline will go to Semicon Taiwan, in Taipei. In addition, we will be attending the MEMS & Sensor Forum on Tuesday September 5th. This is the most important event for the micro- and nano-electronics industry in Taiwan. We would love to meet up and discuss opportunities for fabricating next generation MEMS and sensors using Mesoline's micro-channel particle deposition (MPD) technology.
On June 13-14, in Porto, Portugal - The MEMS World Summit EU 2023 was hosted at the Amkor Technology ATEP site. Leaders from the MEMS & Sensors Manufacturing Ecosystem gathered over 2 days to share ideas and collaborate on initiatives in our trusted network. Thomas Russell, CEO and Co-Founder of Mesoline presented on About Mesoline’s Emerging 3D Micro Printing Technology, Micro channel Particle Deposition (MPD), used for MEMS & Sensors.
Mr. Wim Pelsma (CEO Aalberts N.V.) and Joey Hunsel (M&A Director) visit Mesoline B.V. headquarters in Rotterdam, NL. The team hands over the first MPD printed wafer to Mr. Pelsma and thank him for his support throughout the years. In 2023, Mr. Pelsma stepped down as CEO of Aalberts N.V. after 12 years. Aalberts N.V. acquired Mesoline B.V. through 100%acquisition in 2021.
